TRE® Global Certification Programme 2027
Become a Certified TRE® Provider, and learn to work with the person, not just the protocol.
A practical, embodied pathway to becoming a TRE® Certified Provider with Senior Trainer Cheda Mikic.
📍 London, UK & Online
📅 March – December 2027
🌿 Four 2-Day Training Modules
⏳ Typical certification journey: 9–18 months
Learning TRE® is about much more than learning the exercises.
Becoming a skilled TRE® Provider means developing the ability to listen, observe, regulate, communicate and respond to what's happening in another person's body — while remaining grounded and regulated in your own.
The TRE® Global Certification Programme 2027 takes you through that process.
Developed by Cheda Mikic through 16 years of TRE® practice and teaching and more than 30 years of body-based clinical experience, this revised programme combines the foundations of TRE® with a deeper exploration of:
Anatomy • Physiology • Neuroscience • Fascia • Attachment • Nervous-System Regulation • Co-regulation • Emotional & Relational Awareness
The goal isn't simply to teach you how to facilitate tremoring.
It's to help you understand what you're seeing, why it may be happening, and how to respond skilfully to the individual in front of you.

A Deeper Way to Learn TRE®
Throughout the certification, theory is combined with personal experience, practical teaching, supervision and reflection.
You'll develop your own relationship with TRE® while gradually learning how to facilitate the process safely and confidently with individuals and groups.
The programme explores not only the tremor mechanism itself, but the wider systems that influence how each person experiences TRE®.
You'll study areas including:
The anatomy, neurology and physiology of stress and trauma
Tremorgenesis and involuntary movement
Nervous-system regulation and Polyvagal Theory
Fascia and its relationship with TRE®
Verbal and tactile interventions
Attachment and co-regulation
Innate defence strategies
Brain networks and perception
Working with beliefs and emotional experience
Relational dynamics
Transference and countertransference
Ethical awareness and scope of practice
All while developing the practical skills needed to work with real people and real nervous systems — not textbook examples.
Your 2027 Training Journey
Module 1 — Foundations & Personal Embodiment
6–7 March 2027
Begin with TRE® concepts, personal tremoring experience and the foundations of anatomy, physiology and nervous-system regulation.
Explore grounding, orientation and containment alongside tremorgenesis, Polyvagal Theory and the physiology of stress and trauma.
Module 2 — Teaching Individuals & Fascia
26–27 June 2027
Move from your own experience towards working with others.
Deepen your understanding of fascia, tremor neurology and Polyvagal Theory while developing practical skills in verbal and tactile interventions, adaptations and working with individual needs.
Module 3 — Groups, Attachment & Relational Awareness
25–26 September 2027
Explore what happens when TRE® becomes relational.
You'll work with attachment, co-regulation, innate defence strategies, brain networks and the relational field while developing the skills required to facilitate small groups.
You'll also explore transference, countertransference and ethical awareness.
Module 4 — Integration & Supervision
4–5 December 2027
Bring everything together.
Day one is dedicated to supervision across your personal process and your individual and group work.
Day two focuses on refining teaching interventions, integrating your learning and building greater confidence working with both individuals and groups.
Certification Is a Journey, Not a Weekend Course
Your development continues between each module.
The certification process normally takes 9–18 months from the beginning of Module 1, giving you time to practise, reflect, receive supervision and integrate what you're learning.
To become certified, the minimum requirements include:
4 two-day training modules
4 personal one-to-one TRE® sessions
5 supervised individual teaching sessions
5 supervised group teaching sessions
40 hours of personal TRE® practice and journalling
Required reading, viewing and written reflection
Final certification session with your Primary Certification Trainer
Your learning plan and supervision may also be adapted according to your existing experience, skills and progress.

His approach is strongly practical and embodied, bringing together specialist bodywork knowledge with anatomy, neurophysiology, the body–brain connection, emotional awareness, attachment and relational work.
Rather than teaching TRE® as a rigid sequence to apply to everyone in the same way, Cheda places emphasis on developing your ability to listen to the body, recognise individual responses and adapt your work to the person or group in front of you.
He is the founder of TRE Centre in London and Metodo TRE in Italy and has worked across the UK, USA, Europe and internationally.

Is This the Right Next Step for You?
If you want to become a TRE® Provider, this programme asks you to go beyond simply learning what to do.
You'll be invited to understand the body more deeply.
To develop your own embodied awareness.
To recognise individual nervous-system responses.
To learn when to intervene — and when not to.
To work with relationship and co-regulation.
And ultimately, to develop the confidence to facilitate TRE® with skill, sensitivity and adaptability.
Certification is a significant personal and professional commitment — but that's precisely why the programme extends beyond the training room.
